Are the flame retardants used on bellows all environmentally friendly? Can they be exported to the European Union?

Generally, the flame retardants used on corrugated pipes are environmentally friendly, but it's not that simple if you want to export them to the European Union.

 Firstly, it is necessary to pass the RoHS test. RoHS is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation, and its full name is "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment". This standard has been officially implemented since July 1, 2006, and is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electrical and electronic products. The purpose of this standard is to eliminate lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (a total of six substances) in electrical and electronic products, and it specifically stipulates that the content of cadmium shall not exceed 0.01%. 

Secondly, it is necessary to obtain the CE certification. The CE certification is the pass for products to enter the EU market. Simply put, if a product is to be sold in the EU market, it must undergo CE certification and obtain a CE certification certificate. The CE certification provides a unified technical specification for products from various countries to trade in the European market, simplifying the trade procedures. Products from any country that want to enter the European Union or the European Free Trade Area must undergo CE certification and affix the CE mark to the products. Therefore, the CE certification is the pass for products to enter the markets of EU and European Free Trade Area countries.
