How to add flame retardancy to artificial plants?

Artificial plants have many advantages, such as wind resistance, UV resistance, fire resistance, environmental protection, and no pollution. Among them, to achieve the fire resistance function, flame retardant masterbatch must be added during the production process of artificial leaves. Today, let's talk about the adding process and precautions of the flame retardant master batch. 

1. Appropriate processing temperatures: LDPE: (180-200°C); HDPE: (190-220°C). 

2. Appropriately adding 15-20% of talcum powder can reduce the cost and play a reinforcing role. (Note: The addition amount should not exceed 20%, and talcum powder masterbatch has a better effect; Barium sulfate must never be added, otherwise the flame retardant effect will be lost!)

 3. The melting points of different new PE materials are different, so the addition ratio of the flame retardant will also vary slightly. When exceeding the recommended addition ratio, the greater the addition amount, the worse the flame retardant effect will be. (Note: It is required to use new PE materials, and waste or used materials are not allowed.)
