我国现行的阻燃标准有GB8624-2006《建筑材料及制品燃烧性能分级》和GB/T8625-2005《建筑材料难燃性试验方法》。其中GB8624:2006是对建筑材料及制品的燃烧性能进行的一种测试。根据此测试，可以分为四个方面的等级。
第一方面是材料燃烧性能，可以划分为A1、A2、B、C、D、E、F、或AFL1、AFL2、BFL、CFL、DFL、EFL、FFL或AL1、AL2、BL、CL、DL、EL、FL七个级别。第二个方面是毒性测试，分为T0、T1、T2三个级别。第三方面是烟雾浓度测试，可分为S1、S2、S3三个级别。第四方面是燃烧滴落物，分为D0、D1、D2三个等级。
